Hello to all the VISIONEARS
We have all made the next step up on our way to the
East. What an exciting adventure we are all on. I am looking so
forward to watching each one of you be installed as Worthy Matrons and
soon to be Worthy Patrons, of your respective Chapters. That reminds
me, you can start bringing your prospective Associate Patrons to our
meetings if you would like. We would really like to get to know each of
them and show them what a great group we are. They need to meet our
HANDSOME Grand Sentential.
Brother Donnie and Sister Jennifer and I are busy
working on plans for the next two years. Sister Jenny is helping me to
select dresses. Brother Don is helping with Grand Officers, Committee
Chrm. and several other things we need to get done. Very busy time,
but exciting also. We are having fun planning, and working out ideas
together. DONALD DUCK really knows how to do a lot of quacking about
different things......
I really enjoyed the installations. Everyone did a
great job. Brother Donnie and I enjoyed being installing officers
together. Sorry I didn't make a few of them, I had to take my
youngest grandchildren, who are six and four, to Disneyland. We had a
great time. Speaking of which, how are you all doing on selling your
tickets? We need to really push those. We are doing that instead of
the Strawberry booth this year. Lets really get going on this and
also, helping out by buying from our Ways and Means...
The Summer is going fast. Soon we will be on the road
again. My first School is on September 2nd at NorthStar. I do look
forward to the Schools. Come and visit any of the Chapters where I do
my schools. Love to have you there. I would probably have you fill in
somewhere, like escort, when you come.
Thanks to all for the kind support shown to me over the
past several months. I know that without my very special Sisters and
Brothers, who are all my friends, life would of been very difficult
for me. Our Sister Carol Currie has also just lost her husband and
livelong companion. My heart goes out to her and her family. We will
go on because we have each of you giving us encouragement.
